We are a family farm that work hard taking care of our horses, cows in milk, bunny rabbits, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, and Great Pyrenees dogs.
Sonya and her daughter, Shauna, started the farm in 2007, when Shauna was only 7 years old. They started with bunny rabbits and shortly thereafter added all the other animals. Husband, Rick, decided that he would join the team also as the Facility Manager. Being a farming family is a way of life, that we chose with its ups and downs but we wouldn't have it any other way!
Our passion and what sets our farm apart from others is that we are an educational and learning interactive farm. We assist you in holding and patting the animals and allow you to go in with the animals instead of just viewing them from behind a fence. As a society, so far removed from farm life, we encourage people to ask questions and we teach homesteading classes to help people gain skills back that we have lost.
