Farm Get Away Guest House with queen bed, kitchenette, and bathroom. Extended stay guests will have access to the full Farm Kitchen for serious baking and cooking. Guest House is brand new, heated and cooled, and very quaint. Guest House is smaller than Cabin so if you want a romantic get away this is for you or a family with a small child. Yes we have had families with several children stay here many times in past but it is small like a hotel room.
Farm Get Away Cabin at the Farm is a large area (24 x 24) which would be great for large groups or just a family. 2 large futons, single futon, and/or you can to bring sleeping bags to put on the floor to house more people. Curtains up between large futons to create 2 separate rooms and give privacy. Heater/air conditioner. Kitchenette with refrigerator , microwave, and coffee maker.
Great for a family get away, church youth group, girl/boy scouts, or moving into town and don't want to sign a long term lease! We had a 19 person girl scout troop come and do an extended weekend stay in the cabin. They loved that we have the full kitchen for them to cook in, the cabin is plenty big, lots of room for the girls to run and explore, animal time, and it was educational being at the farm. We do enjoy hosting large and small groups!
Farm Get Away Cottage is a tiny house with a loft for the children to be completed in near future. Large room with a queen bed in the main living area. Plenty of room in main living area for someone to sleep on floor in a sleeping bag if need be. Also has a bedroom with a single bed. Loft area can sleep 4 children in the future. Bathroom with shower. Kitchenette with refrigerator , microwave, and coffee maker.

Kasey Cox - Sonya was very sweet and the animals were so much fun to see.
Joe Rogers - The host was very responsive and proactive about any needs. The basic amenities were similar to what one might find in a hotel room. In addition to this, there were many nice perks, e.g. could go swing in a gazebo, see and interact with farm animals, and a have a very private experience. I would definitely stay again and could easily recommend to a friend. Loved the quiet, the privacy, the cleanliness of the room
Miles Pritchard - Great little place on a safe private farm. The hosts were very accommodating and actively try to improve the guests experience. Sonya and her husband were very comfortable people to deal with and respected privacy. This is a simple house but is priced well for what you get and where you are. I enjoyed my stay and would return if in the area.
Margaret Visk - This place was great! Our family had the best time. Sonya and her daughter were so welcoming and had SO many fun activities for the kids. She teaches all sorts of classes on homesteaded and has every farm animal known to man. She let us help milk the cow, feed the animals, pet bunnies, hold a 4 day old baby pig and ride her horse. It was paradise for my 3 kids.
Victor Rojas - Sonya was an awesome Host. Sonya was always in touch with me to make sure I was going to make it okay. She gave me a tour of her beautiful Farm, after 40 years I was able to touch and be among animals like cow, horse, sheep, goats, etc.. Lots of chicken there ... I brought home two brown eggs she gave me. Overall, I think God took me there for a reason. This was a nice get away of the big city place, I was able to do lots of reading, meditation, writing, and as I was wondering what church to go in this new city, and looking for a church to visit, just happened that she invited me to her church and I felt renewed and fresh singing songs that I haven't sang in over a decade, great music and people I met at her church. She did not treat me like a stranger, she spoke to me like a friend, and I was a good listener. The room was perfect for what I needed, it was kind of a cold night outside, but she had the heater going for me, she thinks of the little things, and you may get surprised! Room was perfect size, clean, and very private. Sonya and her daughter were very accommodating, quickly they make you feel at home, and at ease. Sonya is an intelligent lady, smart, full of knowledge and will do whatever she can to make sure your staying is memorable. Most definitely I will recommend this place. If you like a great connection with nature and life without taking you too far from the civilized world, then this is a place for you. I most definitely return soon.
Amber Craig - Thank you for the amazing experience! Our girl scouts have had a wonderful time hanging out on your farm, seeing the animals and playing in the common area. This space has been ideal for our troop - close to Charlotte activities, including the US whitewater center, plus way more economical than a hotel. We appreciate the special time and attention you have given our group. We hope to be back soon!
Thank you so much for the use of your farm! It is a beautiful place and you should be very proud of it. All of us enjoyed using it very much. Thank you thank you, thank you! God bless! Love, Emily
Megan O'Toole - Sonya is a lifesaver! I was heading back home to Atlanta, and was exhausted so I thought it would be the safest thing to stop for the night. Sonya quickly replied to my inquiry and had everything ready when I got there. I really enjoyed meeting all the animals at the farm, her dog Bentley is my new best friend! I wish I had more time to spend at the farm. Gonna visit again soon and bring my 4 year old son. Thanks again, Sonya!
Melanie Keeter - We had a wonderful weekend on the farm!! My family (myself, my husband, and our 6 year old, 4 year old, and 1 year old) ended up staying in the smaller guest house which was neat and cute and just big enough for the 5 of us. Sonya provided us with a twin air mattress for the older kids and even a princess blanket for my daughter, which she loved!! One of the reasons we chose to stay here was to see the animals and we were not disappointed. The kids got to milk a cow, bottle feed baby sheep and goats, hunt for eggs, and see lots of other animals. It was fun and educational. My older two are already asking to go back! I highly recommend staying here. Sonya and her daughter were very nice and accommodating and the farm had lots of things to interest the kids (playground, animals, walking trail). It was a great family get-away!
Matt Shor - This place was perfect, Sonya was great, would absolutely stay again!! A+++ Sonya, thank you for the hospitality you where awesome
Stuart Enloe - Very comfortable, and a nice farm. Loved the dogs. :)
